Exmoor bears a rich tradition of family curling since 1936 and is the
only country club in the Chicago area with a curling program.
The curling season is from mid-October to mid-March. With four indoor
sheets of ice and an expansive schedule for play throughout the week, curling
at Exmoor is accessible for all ages.
Curling takes place in Exmoor’s new Oakhouse facility, which also hosts our racquets program and features casual
dining, a full-service bar, 15 big-screen TVs and locker rooms. Two large
lounges enable unobstructed viewing of curling and racquets action.
Over the years, Exmoor has hosted many prestigious local, state,
national, and international curling competitions. Exmoor’s
Men’s Continental Bonspiel is recently celebrating its 63rd year with 46 teams from
across the U.S. and Canada competing.
