Exmoor Foundation Scholarship

Dear Exmoor Foundation Scholarship Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in applying for an Exmoor Foundation Scholarship. The Exmoor Foundation Board of Directors have determined the following guidelines for consideration as an Exmoor Scholar:

1. Full-Time Year-Round Staff Member: Must have completed a minimum of one year at Exmoor Country Club.
2. Part- Time Year- Round Staff Member: Must have completed a minimum of one year at Exmoor Country Club with a combined minimum of 700 hours of work.
3. Seasonal Staff Member: Must have completed a minimum of two seasons at Exmoor Country Club with a combined minimum of 400 hours of work.
4. Caddie: Must have completed a minimum of two seasons at Exmoor Country Club with a minimum of 60 rounds combined in those two years and is actively caddying during the application process.
5. Family Members of Eligible Exmoor Country Club employees who have completed the employment requirements. A family member is defined as a child, spouse, or grandchild of the eligible Exmoor Country Club employee.

In addition, all applicants must be pursuing post secondary academic, vocational, or trade school education or pursuing college preparatory high school. We do expect our scholars to meet academic criteria. We do expect our scholars to meet the academic criteria of a 2.5 cumulative GPA.

Applications are available by clicking on the green button below labeled "Please Click Here to Fill Out the Application." You can also obtain a hard copy of the application either in person or via email by contacting your direct supervisor or Morgan Jones, Exmoor Country Club’s Director of Human Resources ([email protected]). Completed applications are to be returned either electronically or by hard copies with your essay, transcript, and photo to the Director of Human Resources no later than Monday, June 10, 2024. Employment eligibility must be confirmed by the applicant’s supervisor or the Director of Human Resources.

Interviews will be conducted on June 27, July 9, 10, 11, and 16. Interview dates and times will be scheduled after we review the applications. Scholarship determinations will be made on or before July 24th, 2024, with the Recognition Reception scheduled for August 4th. We will be using e-mail as the primary form of communication for interviews and awards, so please be sure to check frequently.
